2023 In late July, ACA staff went out into the country to check on a dog reported to be abandoned and bleeding. We found “Coral”, covered in bite wounds, frightened and thirsty in the summer heat. Dr. Stacy Kostiuk sedated the dog and cleaned up her wounds. Coral has come so far since July! She loves life and doesn’t have to be afraid anymore! Coral is a young adult and weighs about 40 pounds.
This sweet girl deserves a loving home with lots of cuddles! Coral is currently in a foster home and absolutely loving it! She
Expo was abandoned by his owners sadly as he was found running and once we found out who he belonged to they said they were moving and did not want him back. Expo is around 3 years old and we have got him fully vetted including being heartworm negative.
He is one smart and energetic dog and he is looking for an active family. He has picked up on basic training very quickly. He would do best with a fence, but we have found if we are not outside with him he can and will jump the fence. However, from his first day here, he will come around and wait at the door for us to let him back in!
He seems to be ok with dogs, though a Meet & Greet is required. He absolutely loves his toys. He keeps his kennel very clean and has never had an accident. He seems to love kids and he did live with one. But he is very boisterous so older kids may be better. He has a high prey drive, so would need a home without other small animals like cats.
Expo is a great dog and is anxiously awaiting a forever home of his own.
