Joyce Luckett is the Founder and Director of Animal Care Alliance. ACA was created as an effort to give the community an affordable spay/neuter program, which it so desperately needs. She is also responsible for ACA's wildlife rehabilitation and education programs. ACA is permitted to care for native mammals through Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources and songbirds and raptors through US Fish and Wildlife Service. In 2024, ACA took in over 300 wildlife animals that needed help.
Joyce is involved with many aspects of daily life at ACA and with all aspects of its wildlife programs. She is particularly pleased with ACA's education outreach efforts. Many lives are touched by the animals that visit schools and community events in effort to show people the wonders of native wildlife creatures and how they benefit people and our environment. In her off hours, Joyce enjoys gardening and caring for her pets and barnyard friends.
